Century & Hebden Dyeing
Richard Smith, Managing Director and owner of Hebden Dyeing & Finishing Company, has today announced his intention to cease operations at the end of August 2009.
Century Dyeing in Elland, West Yorkshire, has reached an agreement with Richard to acquire certain assets and to establish the capability to meet the forward demands of Hebden’s customers.
Richard will be working with Century for an extended period to establish this capability and to ensure that all Hebden’s customers are fully supported.
Century has well developed capabilities in dyeing and finishing and a long history of servicing a wide range of customers.
As part of these arrangements we are making a significant commitment in both machinery and people to ensure a successful transition.
This will benefit Century by broadening both its product offer and customer base.
