ACQUISITION OF TRANMERE
Allied Textiles are delighted to announce the acquisition of the assets and goodwill of Tranmere Textiles (2005) Ltd.
The current Tranmere operation was established by the Directors – Chris Hartley and David Morris – in 2005. It had previously been owned and operated by Perseverance Mills.
Allied, via its Mayfield Yarns operation, is the leading UK supplier of warping services. Tranmere operates in similar markets, and therefore allows Mayfield to expand its range of services to a broader customer base.
Chris and David will continue to work with Allied for an extended period to ensure a smooth integration process. The main aim will be to ensure a seamless transition, with the combined operation continuing to provide the highest standards of service and quality to the combined customer base.
Commenting on the transaction, Stewart McGuffie, Chief Executive of Allied said “We are delighted to have reached agreement with Chris and David, and very much look forward to working with them in integrating the businesses.”
